NYC's Best "Off-Night" Parties
One of the best things about living in New York City is that there is always something to do. No matter what night of the week it is, there is an epic party going on somewhere. Here are our four favorite spots for every “off” night of the week.
1. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at Sleep No More: If you haven’t already seen the interactive Shakespearean-inspired performance, please click here, buy your tickets and then proceed to read the rest of this article. The walk-through work takes place seven nights per week in Chelsea, complete with interactions between you and some very alluring Shakespearean actors. Make sure to hang at the bar afterward to catch your breath after such an overwhelming experience.
2. Sundays at Pranna: The best party brunch in the city by far, Pranna provides the party scene of a nightclub with bites to satisfy the most discerning of foodies. Table dancers and a pre fixe menu that includes five cocktails will get you in the mood to party, while the crowd will keep you there long after you’ve finished your meal!
3. Mondays at The Stanton Social: Long renowned as one of the city’s best restaurants, the Stanton Social needs no introduction. However, you may not have known that this LES spot has been hosting “Social Mondays” with a live DJ since 2005! Their Happy Hour and late night menu includes $1 oysters and half off all wine and beer.
4. Tuesdays at The Box: Closed on Sunday and Monday, this is the spot for a Tuesday in the City. Whether you are in the mood to see women swinging from the ceiling or erotic performers eating fire, prepare for that and more in this Lower East Side staple. Even on a Tuesday, reservations are a must, and so are wearing your hottest looks.
